ABOUT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

When I was a child, I received my first camera (a Polaroid©instamatic) and immediately set off to photograph my family and my pets. From that moment on, I was hooked and knew one day I wanted to be a photographer. I Especially enjoyed photographing animals at that time. It was 25 years later that I began to follow my passion for photography on a serious level.

I began shooting landscapes of my travels across the world and received accolades from fellow travelers and photography enthusiasts. After some encouragement, I acquired professional equipment and began photographing my Ragdoll cats for my own pleasure. I was able to capture some stunning cat photography, which I later sold on calendars and other photo gifts. Over the next few years, I became one of the best show cat photographers in the world, and my work was published on many covers of international magazines such as Cat Fancy.

Gradually, I introduced portrait photography in my portfolio and started working with models. As a former ballet dancer and professional model myself, I bring my unique understanding of creating beautiful poses and body lines to my photography. Having been on the other end of the camera lens as a professional fashion model, I understand what it takes to achieve beautiful and flattering photography for any woman.

Now, with over 20 years of professional photography experience, my portfolio is rich with a broad range of subjects, with new specialties such as newborns, babies and kids, fantasy photography, families, and maternity.

Another skill I bring to my photography is in the post processing editing that creates memorable and unique portraits. I am an expert at Photoshop and can provide stunning, post photographic effects to my work, bringing out the best characteristics of my subjects, fixing tiny flaws, and providing unique artistic effects.

I have a full, professional studio in the lower level of my home with hundreds of props and sets to offer my clients.  I also have dozens of vast closet of beautiful outfits that my clients may use to enhance their photo session. In addition to my studio, I photograph outdoors and on locations, as requested.  

I am a consummate perfectionist and earnestly work to improve my craft to provide added value to my clients.  I look forward to creating even more magical memories for my clients.
